RemoteApp to use local shortcuts

Hi All

I have just set up a RDS host on server 2008 R2 and am using the RemoteApps to deploy some custom applications over VPN. The application contains links to a number of word documents held on the fileserver. When I try and open the shortcut through RemoteApp it can't open it as it doesnt have word installed. Is it possible to force the shortcut to open locally on the workstation and use it's copy of Word to open the file? The workstation has full access to the shortcut if opened locally
