First time asking a question for me. I've looked through what I can find and haven't found a solution for a problem that's been bugging me for a few months.
After a restart on my server, RDP connections to the server complete eventually, but first I encounter a number of issues.
1) The server will connect once - and then usually the connection will drop before seeing any Welcome, Preparing User Profile etc. This happens about 80% of the time.
2) Then the server will connect and will go through the usual steps, Preparing user profile, welcome, preparing desktop etc. Then the screen will go blue (the windows background blue) and stay blue, for about 15 minutes. Then the system loads the desktop and all is well.
3) Subsequent logons will be fast, responsive, and perfectly fine.
This happens locally and remotely.
It's not an issue that's terribly urgent, just irritating.
