It seems that windows update is breaking our Windows 2008 R2 Remote Gateway's SSL certificate and therefore access to our remote application on another box.
This has happened a number of times, reapplying the certificate in server manager for remote gateway fixes the issue until the next windows update.
Can anyone shed any light to help resolve this issue?
Here are some events from a 5 minute period at 03:19, the time following windows update access to our remote application breaks.
Application - Update Services Service Started
Application - Active Directory Certificate Services for mydomain-srv-DC1-CA was started. DC=srv-dc1.mydomain.local
Application - The Software Protection service is starting.
System - A fatal error occurred when attempting to access the SSL server credential private key. The error code returned from the cryptographic module is 0x8009030d. The internal error state is 10001.
Our certificate is a Godaddy wildcard certificate valid until next May stored in (local computer)/Personal Store
Thanks, Chris
