Multiple RDS Licensing Servers

Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere, I tried running a search but I couldn't find an answer that addressed my query.

We have multiple branches in the US, one in the UK and one in ZA. We have a certain number of Terminal Services licenses and one Terminal Services licensing server. As we gradually move towards 2008, we're looking to migrate the Terminal Services licensing server to a 2008 machine. Is it possible to have multiple licensing servers (i.e. one at each branch) using the same licenses we currently have? 

For the sake of redundancy we don't want to have to rely on one licensing server in one of our plants, 'cause if this goes down it has an impact on all of our branches. 

Is it possible to do this, and what (if any) are some of the issues or concerns we need to know about?
